Congratulations to all who survived the first-ever Men’s Health Urbanathlon 2010! 1,500 Urbanathletes turned up for this one-of-a-kind race as they traversed eight urban obstacles over a 12.5km route along Singapore River and Marina Promenade.
Taking first place in the Individual category was a 28 year-old New Zealander, Jason Lawrence, with a timing of 00:47:10. Mark Williams, a 39 year-old British, clinched second place with a finish time of 00:48:36, while Singaporean Lexxus Tan, 38, clocked 00:50:49 to round up the top three.
Jason Lawrence was a double winner at the event, as he and his team mate Colin Tung, 21, also took first prize in the Team category by clocking a combined total time of 01:38:05. The team won over $8,000 worth of prizes. In second place were Tay Lip Kee, 23, and Fang Jian Yong, 21, with a timing of 01:48:09. Tan Yeow Chung and Eng Yew Kiang, aged 35 and 29 respectively, came in third at 01:52:06.

Race results are out. Participants can write-in to the organisers with regards to their timing results. The organisers will then address and evaluate their concerns. Participants have up to 5 Feb 2010 to write in, thereafter no issues will be entertained. The decision of the organisers will be final.
